Re: Life / on DNA, chess, and wisdom
My life condensed into variably interesting posts on the internet

Welcome to Re: Life 👋 !
I’m Aaryan—a junior at Stanford diving headfirst into a world of virology, philosophy, and mild sleep deprivation.
You just stumbled into the weird corner of the internet where I chronicle my life. In every post, I share three brief updates, two random lessons, and one idea to reflect on for the week.
Let’s begin.
🎬 Three Brief Updates 🎬
// March has unfolded, and I’m writing under the shadow of finals season on campus. Notably, since my last post, I helped organize Stanford’s yearly Japan Exchange Conference (SJEC) and guided my international friends through the halls of Costco (thank you to the whole team and all our students!!)

// Lately, in my medical radiography class, I’ve been learning about k-spaces and MRI image formation. I also had the chance to explore Stanford’s medical cyclotron facility (huge thanks to Dr. Butts-Pauly for making this possible)!
// In my pockets of free time, I’ve been reading The Art of Wordly Wisdom, hunting for more viruses, and (unfortunately) playing online chess. Life, at least for now, has a way of becoming more and more interesting…

What DNA Actually Looks Like
If you could hold DNA in your hand, what would it look like? Well, I took a picture!
🧠One Simple Idea ðŸ§
French Philosopher Simone Weil on the nature of giving:
Attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity.
Every encounter in your life is an opportunity to give yourself infinitely—to your loved ones, to the world, to the moment you’re in.
Why not begin today?
Keep dreaming,
Aaryan
