Re: Life / we're famous now?!
A quick note of gratitude to our community
Dear Reader,
I started this newsletter nearly six years ago.
I was an awkward, sleep-deprived sophomore in high school, and the pandemic had sucked all the normalcy from life.
Writing these posts was my little splash of fun in an otherwise dark time.
Today, nearly six years later, we’ve reached our first thousand subscribers!
From the start, this newsletter has been a secret refuge for me and all the people I care about. And that’s still true. Almost everyone on Re: Life is a friend, mentor, or fellow human I’ve spoken with in real life1.
And this makes it all the more special.
When I look through the people who read and share these posts, I imagine every single face and think about all the memories we shared.
It’s not just that we’ve reached a thousand subscribers. It’s that these thousand readers are also the people I care about the most.
Wherever you are, I know these words reach you, and you reach me. It’s an incredible feeling, and it’s one I want to continue2.
What I’m trying to say is: thank you for liking my writing, and thank you for putting up with me all these years.
I don’t know where we’re going, but I promise it’ll be fun.
Thankfully, we’re just getting fired up!
Carpe diem,
Aaryan
Or my mother, who I know will read this message and text me on WhatsApp very shortly after reading this note :)
I have a knack of asking for feedback, and this seems like a ripe opportunity. I pride this newsletter on being the most accessible place on the planet. If you have any ideas for future posts, send me a message or email!

I still remember you as a little boy who asked hundred questions a day..looks like he never stopped thinking!
Your writing, your ideas, and the way you connect with people is unique. Always your biggest fan betu! This made me smile so much.Love you!
Congrats on the first 1k, many more to come!
